DJ Tricky - 1/2 of Subversion !
Tricky has been playing his own brand of intense, aggressive trance in the Yorkshire area since 1998.
He started out with a residency at Templehead in Leeds, playing psy-edged trance techno on the same bill as people such as Chris Liberator and Giselle. He concurrently ran and played at eUphoric in Bradford, building up an impressive fan-base, and putting on -vs- nights with hard dance monsters, Parlez-Vous?
Through regular bookings for the local Cyberdog store , he then became resident at Distraction in Leeds with notable appearances alongside Lee Haslam, Tidy Boys, Amber D, Ingo and Hinsley, with guest brands such as Goodgreef and Polysexual, as well as at the Tidy album launch. | |  | TrickyDJ at Distraction vs Goodgreef

He was a regular guest at the legendary Housewives Choice nights, playing on the same bill as GRH, Matt Pickup and Freesoup.
DJ Tricky was a regular guest reviewer on the Trance and Techno hour on Ramair radio, which has a coverage of the whole of West Yorkshire and globally streamed across the web. This, along with his residency at the club night, led to him becoming a resident member of the Connected radio show, broadcasting along with Dave r once a week on the same station.
His productions have created interest from many labels, including Hinotori and Koenigskinder Records Hamburg. His most exciting project to date, however, is a collaboration with Dave Spinout, under the name Subversion. Look forward to driving hard trance beasts, (there are two at the nearly-finished stage) and a JTB remix or two! |
