one of the southwest's finest hard trance DJ / Producer..
Sam first came to the scene in 2002 knowing very little about dance culture that took him comfortably under its wing………………………………....................
As far as I can remember Sam has loved music of all kinds, so when he discovered dance music he took it on with passion putting all his time and effort into getting those tight mix’s and banging new release’s. given his 1st break in summer 2003 he was to play at Blaze @ Beehive in Bridport for his Friend DJ DoubleU. Pulling a Blinding 1st Dj set he built his foundations for the unique and diverse Producer/Dj he is today. At the end of summer 2003 Sam got involved with his local youth club and arranged for an under 19s rave. Being in control of advertisement the1st event pulled in 239 heads and was an instant success opening an opportunity for Sam and his friends to have a local residency. He later went on to book lots of well known names like Iain Cross, John Baptist, Chris Thomson, Jo May……………………
The next year sam enrolled in a music course at Weymouth college, starting in September 2004 sam found himself being distracted from spinning vinyl and got a feel for the mouse and keyboard. Sam later went on to meet Dj the corbz and through him found John and the High Fishy crew. completely amazed at johns music abilities and studio, it inspired Sam’s drive to make music but not owning a pc kept him at college even on his Wednesdays off (crazy lad).
Hearing Sam’s tunes progress as time went on making tune after tune developing his style in a tunnel vision like method, his songs got more varied and a definite style was appearing, specialising in hard dance, sam also made funky house and drum and bass, which previous styles were apparent.
At the end of summer 2006 sam got a pc, still being at college at the time sam no longer had time for the course as he felt he learnt more sat in johns studio.
His tunes moved faster than ever playing his own production at fusion vs. diversity, he was pleased with the response with his friends matt and Otis knowing the track was his and giving the thumbs up.
It was apparent that Sam’s productions were getting high in standard, he was invited to join the high fish crew as an official member of high fish, overwhelmed by the invitation sam took it and hasn’t looked back since. Sam has come far since 2006 playing in clubs and bars up the country, he started to Establish a small name for himself as a producer.
Sam later went on to team up with do the corbz, producing there 1st track together “Definitely” the track was a success in clubs gaining constructive feedback from established producers sam took them on the chin and got to work. Come 2007 he was given the opportunity to remix a release from Dj Majesty “silver”. taking this on with corbzy they spent months hard at work rendering and re-rendering to get the finished track. Liking what he heard majesty sent it to dave joy (joyride rcds) where it was to go to record, sadly it never made it but did however make it to Synergy the mixed album by dave joy.
Sam is currently still making and mixing his tunes, proving that the love doesn’t die unless you let it!!!!!!
