JTB - Bring Power (listen / buy)
JTB & Dj The Corbz - Cosmos (listen / buy)
JTB, or Jon the Baptist, needs no introduction. With Hard Trance releases on many UK and European labels, this guy has been with the High Fish team from the start, and has played a major role in defining the sound of the Fish! Bring Power is a perfect example of why he is so much in demand right now: with hard beats and floating melodies, all produced with precision and energy.
For the second track on the release, Jon teams up with best friend, and one of the fastest up & running Hard Dance DJ's in the UK: The Corbz. Together, they bring you a pumping, melodic Hard Trance track, 'Cosmos'. It consists of a throbbing offbeat bass line, spaced-out vocals and a riff to die for. Play this one at the club and watch the crowd go wild!!

Discogs Rating: 5.0/5 (3 Votes)

Substance
Substance was intended to be a dance-floor tune, that of immense power, but emotional bliss. The tracks commanding kick and bass dominate the bottom end of the track, teaming up with crisp high end percussion and clean mid range melodies and stabs to make it a definite club winner. Following the strong introduction looms a deep and uplifting harmonic structure which is sure to woo any crowd the world over.
Substance (Mantra Remix)
This is the flip side of Jon the Baptist's substance featuring a Mantra (aka James Logan) remix .His distinct brand of energetic trance reeks of depth and originality. HThis is his first showing on the High Fish label but you should expect to see this a lot more of this guy.

HFW001: Future Unknown / Fishy Bizniz |

Released back in 2000 High Fish White 01 was a limited release with the aim of getting the sound of high fish known both locally and nationally. The release provided invaluable experience to all the artists involved, who now make up the management team of High Fish.
Future Unknown follows a hard trance route, with an edge of the sound of that day and age. With powerful melodies and a prominent bottom end it has done the damage on the dance floor many a time.
The flip, Fishy Bizniz is much higher octane Acid Trance. Sitting at 155bpm at 0% it's a true end of the night tune.
